Group mobility - Italy

Project run: 2024-1-CZ01-KA121-SCH-000208941
Activity: group mobility (14 students + 2 accompanying persons)
Partner school: Accademia Risorgimento, San Benedetto del Tronto, Italy
Dates: 29.09.2024 - 6.10.2024

From 29 September to 6 October 2024, a group of students participated in an international educational exchange held in the neighbouring Italian towns of Grottammare (accommodation) and San Benedetto del Tronto (partner school). The programme included a range of activities aimed at developing knowledge, language skills and international integration. It was an excellent opportunity for the young people to learn through experience, to get to know new cultures and to practically use English in everyday situations.
The first day started with a meeting with an Italian group of students and a joint tour of the school, where the young people presented their countries, schools and cultural highlights. The participants had the opportunity to learn about the most popular places, traditions and customs of their partners, which helped them to understand cultural differences and avoid stereotypes.
On the second day, the students participated in integration games to ‘break the ice’. Through this, the young people made new friends, learning to cooperate and communicate effectively in English. This was an important part of the mobility, allowing them to interact more freely during the rest of their stay.
One of the key points of the programme was the environmental seminars, where the students learned about technologies used in sustainable agriculture and food safety. They were introduced to the topic of environmental protection and showed how environmental policies are implemented in Italy.
The programme also included culinary elements. During a cooking workshop, the pupils prepared traditional Italian pizza together, which allowed them not only to learn Italian recipes, but also to expand their vocabulary in the field of gastronomy.
The following days were filled with educational excursions to historic towns such as Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Loreto and Urbino. Visiting historical monuments and heritage sites allowed the students to learn more about the history of Italy, as well as to understand the influence of Italian architecture and art on European heritage.
All in all, the exchange was not only an opportunity to learn and acquire new skills, but also a valuable experience that contributed to the personal development of the participants. Through joint activities, young people from different countries had the opportunity to make friends, learn about other cultures and become more confident in an international environment.

Activity: Individual mobility – language course (1 teacher)
Language school: Atlas Language School, Dublin, Ireland
Dates: 11–23 August 2025

From 11 to 23 August 2025, a teacher from our school took part in an intensive English course General English Training (GE26), organised within the Erasmus+ programme in Dublin. The morning lessons focused on developing all key language skills: speaking, listening, reading and writing. Selected afternoons were dedicated to so-called PLUS Classes – extended conversational and workshop sessions. Other afternoons were free, enabling individual exploration of the city and Irish culture. The course programme also included cultural activities such as:
  • an orientation walk around Dublin,
  • a visit to the Guinness Storehouse,
  • viewing the famous Book of Kells at Trinity College,
  • excursions to the seaside town of Howth and the picturesque Malahide.
The course brought our teachers not only improved language skills but also new cultural experiences, international contacts and inspiration for their future work.
